Nano-CBD

CBD reduced to nanometre-scale droplets in an emulsion — designed to dramatically increase bioavailability and water-compatibility.

Why it matters

Nano-CBD is produced by mechanically shearing CBD into droplets typically under 100 nanometres in a stabilised water emulsion. The smaller particles cross mucosal and intestinal membranes more efficiently. Reported bioavailability improvements vary widely depending on the technology and the comparator; the most defensible figures are 2–4x improvement over a comparable conventional oil format.

In practice

Practical use case: faster onset, lower per-mg dose for equivalent effect, and the ability to formulate into water-based products (drinks, sprays) where conventional CBD oil would not dissolve.

Common confusion

“Nano” is a heavily abused marketing term. Without third-party measurement data, claims of nanoscale particle size are not verifiable from the label.
