Alternative Pharm Press accepts paid placements. This page explains what those placements look like, what they cost in terms of editorial independence, and how to spot them.
What we sell.
Brands in our covered categories — kratom, cannabis, CBD, hemp, THC, nootropics, research peptides — can pay to be listed in the Alternative Pharm Press brand directory. Listings include a logo, category tag, short brand description, and a link to the brand’s site. Higher-tier listings include expanded copy, lab-report hosting, and category-page placement. Pricing on the Submit a Brand page.
Brands may commission sponsored articles. Sponsored articles run under a clearly visible “Sponsored” or “Paid Partnership” label, with a short note naming the sponsor. Sponsored content is still written or reviewed under our editorial standards: we will not publish factual claims about safety, dosing, or efficacy that we cannot verify, regardless of who is paying.
We may run display advertising, sponsor logos in newsletters, or sponsored newsletter sections. Each is labelled and visually separated from editorial content.
What a paid listing does not buy.
A paid directory listing is a listing. It is not an editorial review and it does not buy a positive verdict. Editorial reviews — the long-form assessments where we examine lab reports, formulation, sourcing, customer-service track record, and regulatory history — are independent. A brand can be a paying directory partner and still receive a critical or negative editorial review.
Labels you will see.
- Sponsored / Paid Partnership — the article was paid for by a brand.
- Directory listing — the entry is part of the paid brand directory.
- Affiliate link — the outbound link may earn a commission (see Affiliate Disclosure).
- No label — the content is independent editorial.
Why we are explicit about this.
Readers in the kratom, cannabis, CBD, hemp, THC, nootropics, and research peptide categories have historically been let down by publishers that blur the line between coverage and advertising. Clear labelling is the cost of being trusted on harm reduction. If you ever find a placement on this Site that you think is mislabelled, please email editorial@alternativepharmpress.com and we will review.
